I am the chairperson for Arboretum Auxiliary Woodworkers and I am looking for a archived photograph or 2 of the signature White Oak tree that was right on the corner where you start 3 mile drive. This tree was diseased and cut down late August of 2020 of which I have a picture. Our woodworking group got some of the logs and had it sawn into lumber. This year I have made 3 large garden mushrooms turned on a lathe out of that specific lumber and they are being offered as a silent auction item at this years Gala. If we had a nice photograph of that tree in full foliage and maybe fall color, it would add immensely to the story of the life and after-life of that tree.
Ideally i would like the photographs by May 7th, and I am working with Kim Heiar in development on this project.
Sincerely
